Supercell is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Software Engineer to join the amazing Supercell crew in Helsinki! You will get to work with the most talented people in the industry (we kid you not), and be a part of things which will rock the world! RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participating in implementation of a robust, High-Availability services platform used by Supercell games
• Service and technical architecture planning, database design
• Interaction with game teams and management to define requirements, integration and project schedules
• Creating lightweight systems documentation

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

• CS degree or equivalent skills from work experience
• Good experience (5+ years) developing server applications using Java
• Database design and implementation skills. Experience with big data sets is considered as a plus.
• Knowledge of open source frameworks and projects
• Being passionate, committed to tasks and in general an autonomous person with high level of initiative and energy
• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and meeting deadlines
• Familiarity with Linux and/or Cloud computing is a strong bonus
